Augustyn sold to Catania for 0.5 million euro

At the official website there was an information that Błażej Augustyn was sold to the Italian Catania Calcio – team which is in the Serie A. 21-year-old defender signed with his new club a four-year-contract. Legia is going to be given 500.000 euro for the player. In the season 2008/2009 Augustyn was on a loan in Rimini Calcio from the Serie B and presented plain football.
The footballer was bought by Legia from English Bolton before the season 2007/2008. In the first team Augustyn played in nine matches (four in the Ekstraklasa, four in the Ekstraklasa Cup, one in the Polish Cup). He also appeared in eleven games of the Młoda Ekstraklasa (two goals).
